This is the Privacy Policy of AR Draw - Trace Anything ("AR Draw"), its future versions and the website tooldraw.app. AR Draw is operated by its developer ("we", "us", "our"). This policy is part of our Terms of Service. We refer to our apps, website and services as the "Service".

Please read on to learn how we handle your data. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Information we collect

The AR Draw app has no accounts and no sign-in. You do not give us your name, email or phone number to use it.

• Camera, microphone and photo library. The app asks for these to show the picture over your paper, record photos and videos of your drawing, pick a photo to trace and save your work. Your photos, videos and drawings stay on your device; we do not upload them.
• Web search. When you search for a picture inside the app, the words you type are sent to a web image search to find results.
• Usage and crash data. We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to see which features are used and to fix crashes. This includes device type, OS version, app version, in-app events, purchase events and crash reports, linked to a random ID for your installation, not to your name.
• Install source. On first launch the app sends a random install ID and basic device details (OS version, screen size, language, time zone) to our server, and may ask Apple whether the install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign. We use this to learn which ad or page led to the install and to open the picture you chose on our website.

Our website and advertising

When you visit tooldraw.app, we record which campaign brought you there (UTM parameters and ad click IDs such as fbclid or ttclid), a random visitor ID kept in your browser, a hashed form of your IP address, and basic device details: device type, OS version, screen size, language and time zone. When you tap a download button, we may copy a link to your clipboard.

We use this only to learn which ad or page led to an app install and to open the picture you chose when the app first starts. Click records are deleted after 7 days. If we turn on advertising and analytics tools (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics), they receive page views and button taps under their own privacy policies.

Payments

When you buy Premium on tooldraw.app, payment is processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your name, email, billing country and payment details under its own privacy notice. We receive your email, country, plan and subscription status so we can unlock Premium in the app. We never see or store your full card number.

Purchases inside the iOS app are processed by Apple. We receive the purchase status and an anonymous ID for the purchase, not your payment details.

Sharing of your information

• We do not rent or sell your personal information.
• We share information only with the service providers that run the Service for us: Google Firebase (analytics, crash reports, app content and our server), Cloudflare (website hosting), Paddle (web payments) and Apple (App Store purchases). They may use it only to provide their service to us, with appropriate security safeguards.

Data access and removal

• You control the app's access to your camera, microphone and photos at any time in iPhone Settings.
• Deleting the app removes your drawings and its data from your device.
• To see or delete the data we hold about you, such as a web purchase linked to your email, write to support@tooldraw.app. We will answer within 30 days.

Security

Protecting your privacy is a top priority. We use technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access or misuse. Because of the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Age restrictions

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we learn that we have collected such information by mistake, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are posted in the Service or on this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept it.
